Breast Cancer Support is Vital to Your Health
Hello and welcome to GetBreastCancerSupport.com, a website dedicated to helping others find support for this particular cancer issue which is breast cancer. The first thing I want to say is that I personally have lost many friends very close friends due to cancer.
Two of my close friends were mother and daughter and within a year of each other they both died due to breast cancer. In fact the other daughter had breast cancer as well. Fortunately she was able to survive her cancer as it was found and detected very early.
So while I cannot say that I have personally had cancer I do understand the emotional pain that comes from losing friends and family who do. Might and died of pancreatic cancer in 2008.
In addition to this I have also experienced over 10 years of severe chronic daily pain due to both chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. I just mention these things because I want you to understand that I do have a great understanding of what it is like to be in a position of pain due to both physical and emotional suffering.
I have developed this website specifically to offer breast cancer support to those both suffering from the knowledge that they have breast cancer and to those family and friends who are emotionally distraught over knowing that their dear loved ones have the villain this type of cancer.
The next thing I think it’s important to address is that while doing your research is specially research found online, you have to realize that you’re going to run across a lot of opinions, and misinterpretations that can lead you down the wrong path. So, of course it is always in your best interest to check with your doctor should you have any suspicion that you yourself might have to some type of breast cancer or other health issue.
One of the first things I’d like to talk about is definite steps you can take that will not cost you anything more than your time and preparation to start implementing into your life.
A few years ago I was reading about some statistics that show that women who walked 45 minutes could decrease their probability of developing breast cancer by 45%. I personally walk between about 2 hours daily. Which tells me I have lowered my probability of developing breast cancer by about 120%. Of course these are only statistics but it does make me feel that I am in proactive in my personal quest to be a healthier person.
Because I’m not a doctor or healthcare physician or I cannot specifically tell you how daily walking can decrease the chances of developing breast cancer. However, I do know that walking and moving about is how our bodies are able to flush different toxins out. It’s the movement they teach these toxins from sitting stagnant in different places for instance our lymph nodes. And when it comes to breast cancer, many times it is the lymph nodes where the severe and deadly stages of cancer develop.
So the more we walk the more we allow our bodies the opportunity to push out the different toxins that are taken into our bodies on a daily basis.
Another thing that we need to consider when it comes to our health is what we put into our bodies. On one hand we can appreciate the fact that our bodies do not respond to many of the toxins that we either take him knowingly or unknowingly by causing us to be instantly sick, or worse, die as a result of ingesting foods that are simply bad for us.
I have often thought it is a shame that our bodies would not instantly reject things such as many of the drugs that people can take for years and years like methamphetamines, heroine, and cocaine. Imagine what a different world we would live in if the first time someone tried a type of drug like cocaine resulted in instant death.
That result would surely keep people from taking serious toxic substances into their bodies. But the fact remains that our bodies do not react instantly to these types of poisons and toxins that we put into our body.
For instance let’s take foods like that of what comes out of fast food restaurants. It is a known far that eating fast foods is bad for health. If you were to confront the fast food CEOs for companies like Jack-in-the-Box or McDonald’s, and question them about the poor quality and content that is in their foods, they would simply tell you that people should eat these types of foods in moderation.
What does that mean to eat in moderation? When it comes to fast food moderation would be eating out of fast food restaurant perhaps once a month. I have a friend who just the other day come fast to me that she sometimes eats at McDonald’s up to three times a day for weeks at a time.
This is simply destroying her liver. But she’s young and not yet physically conscious of just how detrimental eating like this is to her body. So, this brings me to the point of what we can do to improve the health of our body by simply removing things like fast food from our diet.
Just because your body does not immediately reject fast foods as soon as you eat them, it does not mean they are providing any type of positive health benefit.
There have been a lot of studies as well on a pH balanced diet. Eating vegetable-based foods versus animal-based foods is something that has been well researched. Our bodies need to be slightly alkaline. A vegetarian diet tends to be the type of diet that will help our bodies become slightly alkaline. A diet that is heavy in acidic foods such as animal-based products, will cause our bodies to be acidic.
Disease cannot thrive in a body that is slightly alkaline but Flora’s shares in bodies that are acidic. This is a fact and something that you can do a great deal more research on.
Everyone has heard that it is recommended we all drink at least eight glasses of water per day. The fact is a glasses of water per day is not enough. The reason for this is complex and would require quite a lot of discussion, so instead of going into this right now in this article, I’m just going to make a point of saying that you should drink as water is your body needs in order to be well hydrated.
When it comes to hydrating our bodies one of the best ways that we can do that is by drinking water that is of a high pH, such as 8.5 to 9.5 pH. You can learn a great deal more about drinking high alkaline and high antioxidant water by visiting aboutkangenwater.com.
Regardless of the type of water that you drink, whether it is a high alkaline water or tap water, the fact is the more water you drink on a daily basis the more toxins you can flush out your body.
The last thing I would like to talk about when it comes to breast cancer support is that of the emotional type of support. When dealing with health issues as devastating as cancer, our minds and hearts came become so overwhelmed we may find ourselves asking if it’s worth getting out of bed in the morning.
I remember this feeling. There was a time when all I could do as far as contributing to my family’s daily needs was to take the cloths out of the dryer and place them on the couch to be folded. That was it. I felt so worthless. At one point in time I had to use a wheel chair to get around while shopping or going on long trips.
It is at these times that people need the most support as they can possibly get. Many people die of cancer and other health problems, not due to their bodies giving up, but because their mind and hearts no longer want to deal with it.
My aunt survived cancer in her 40’s, but then when it came back in her 60’s she did not have the desire to fight it anymore. Her life had so little in it to motivate her to live. Watching TV and smoking were all she had in her life. My mom and I talked her into moving to be with us and at least her last year of life was full of loving care from her sister and niece.
I have come to know several other people who have given up even though they had options they simply had no desire to continue fighting the cancer. This is why it’s so important for people dealing with cancer to have a solid support group. For without it maintaining the will to live can be overwhelming for some.
