Todays Breast Cancer Treatment Options

Different people may have different breast cancer symptoms.  Depending on the type of cancer found, there are a few different types of breast cancer treatment options. Kemo and radiation therapy are common. Other options are taking a more natural approach by researching how to bring your body into an alkaline state rather than the acidic state which is how disease takes hold in our bodies.

You may have all of the common symptoms, only some of them, or perhaps no symptoms at all. For that reason, if you believe that you are displaying breast cancer symptoms, you owe it to yourself to be examined by a doctor as soon as possible. Some breast cancer treatment options may be painful or create sickness, which is why it is important to know all of your options and to ask as many questions as it takes to understand the right one for you.

Breast Cancer Treatment OptionsSome women may experience very obvious and alarming breast cancer symptoms, such as a bloody or clear leakage from the nipple. Often, this happens when a palpable lump is also present. Other more obvious symptoms could manifest as a change or deforming of the breast or nipple shape. Dimpling or indentations are one indicator of this happening.

Breast Cancer Treatment Options – Early Detection

Actual breast cancer symptoms are often thought to be nothing more than normal occurrences. For example, often during the menstrual cycle the breasts will swell or be sore. This is something that occurs naturally in connection with the fluctuation in hormones, and isn’t necessarily a breast cancer symptom. However, if it is something that you haven’t experienced in the past, having it checked by doctor is a safe way to be cautious.

Most people know that lumps can be an early sign of breast cancer. If you find a lump, schedule an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible. Lumps that are in fact cancerous, usually feel firm with a bit of give like chewing gum. Lumps do not usually cause pain. If they do, they are usually cysts. The most common area in which to find a lump is under the nipple of on the outer part of the breast near the underarm area.

Having lumpy breasts does not necessarily mean that you have cancer. Your may feel lumps that are fibrous tissue and not life-threatening at all. Talk to your doctor about how to check for lumps when you have fibrous breasts. Studies have shown that many lumps are not able to be detected by self exams because they are very small, or hidden deep under the surface of the breast.

Breast Cancer Treatment Options – Symptoms of Advanced BC

Symptoms of advanced breast cancer include sores on the skin, pain in the breast bone or elsewhere in the chest, a swelling and sore arm on the same side as the cancer, and reduced appetite. Cancer that has gone this far without treatment will be difficult to manage. You will get the best breast cancer support and information from your doctor, so you need to tell him or her immediately if any new symptoms appear or if existing ones get worse. There may be weight loss and a loss of appetite as well. As breast cancer moves into these stages, treatment becomes more and more difficult.

The finest diagnosis and breast cancer information is going to be what your doctor tells you. Consequently, be sure to talk over anything which may seem different about your health and discuss your current breast cancer symptoms with your doctor just as soon as you become aware of them.

You have several breast cancer treatment options. It’s always up to you how you take care of your body. There are many medical advances today. Talk to your doctor to see which will benefit you the most. You may also want to look into the Mayo Clinic in Mexico for what their doctors are doing regarding cancer treatments.

Please donate to Breast Cancer Research?

Hi my name is Samantha and I am 19. Breast Cancer Fund is holding their 12th Annual Peak Hike. I will be doing the 11.5 mile hike for breast cancer research at Mt. Tamalpais in Marin Ca. This event is to take place October 14th, 2007. I am asking for Donations.
Prevention Starts Here – with your support. The Breast Cancer Fund is making groundbreaking efforts to safeguard the health of our friends and families. As breast cancer rates escalate, we are continually exposed to known or suspected cancer-causing chemicals in our food, water, air and the everyday products we use in our homes. Chemicals which were banned decades ago persist in our bodies, a shocking reminder of the environmental legacy we live with today. Your donation today allows us to demand a new approach to corporate accountability and and chemical regulation that will protect our health and prevent breast cancer and other diseases. Invasive Breast Cancer with Liver Metastases

Caroline Hindmarsh, 46 years old, from Northumberland, England. Caroline was diagnosed with Invasive Breast Cancer in March 2008 and has undergone mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. In October 2009, she was told by her doctors that her cancer has metastasized to her liver. She didn’t want to get anymore chemotherapy and decided to go to the Issels Treatment Center, which a friend of a friend, who had the same type of cancer, has referred her to because they had a good experience there years ago. Caroline finished the 3 week program at Issels in 2009, and in her own words: “I left with the vaccines and I started my regime at home. For a few weeks I wasn’t well and lost weight, and the tumors grew and grew, but I kept on with the vaccines and the diet and the juice and the detoxification. And then I remembered the date, it was the 3rd of January and my husband gave me the vaccines on that weekend and at the end of that week my abdomen went completely flat and I was just astounded. And I couldn’t believe it. So I think I rang Issels and spoke to my doctor, and they’re all really, really pleased for me. But I knew I had to keep on with the regime, and I kept on, now it became a way of life and I’m happy to keep doing everything because I just feel so much better. And I decided to come back to the Issels Treatment Center this year (2010), which is exactly a year after my diagnosis to my liver because I wanted to boost my immune system again. And I’ll tell you a little
