What song/music video is this? (breast cancer survivors)?
I don’t remember what the song sounded like, I think it was sung by a guy but it had a whole bunch of breast cancer survivors in it, and was basically dedicated to them. I do remember that it had Sharon Osborne in it too. She was one of the survivors.
If you could let me know the song name and artist that would be amazing!

and no it’s not Save You by Simple Plan. Sorry.

I need a catchy phrase pertaining to swimming and breast cancer awareness?
My swim team is swimming in a conference swim meet this weekend. Every sports team at the high school shows some type of support in honor of breast cancer survivors. Example, cross country tie dyed pink and white socks and pink sweat bans. The kids on the swim team decided they wanted to wear pink bathing suits this year. What is a cute, catchy saying pertaining to swimming that relates to breast cancer awareness? I mean there has to be something, whether it be something like: swimming breaststroke, to save tatas…I’m clueless. Help please!

Supporting Breast Cancer?
My favorite color is pink, everything in my room is pink, most of my clothes are pink, I just love pink. I had thought about painting my car pink but I thought that might have looked silly.
It wasn’t until recently that I had met a group of the most beautiful women I have ever met in my life. All of which were survivors of breast cancer. They gave me a pink "Hope" band which I wear proudly each day. No one in my family has been affected by breast cancer, and I am grateful for that. However so many women’s lives have been affected. Since that day I have decided to not to wear pink just because it’s my favorite color, I’ve decided to wear it each day to support these amazing women who face tremendous obstacles each day.
I’m getting a new car this winter, hopefully a convertable. I would still like to paint my car pink in support of Breast Cancer survivors and those still in treatment. I would like some opinions about my decision from those that have been affected by this horrible cancer. Any opinions is appreciated.
This question is directed to those with a heart, please leave your crude comments and remarks somewhere else.
Thank you

Breast Cancer Survivor Insurance Coverage: Is it possible? About how Much?
My mother had breast cancer about 12 years ago and survived. She worked as a nurse before and since then and has been covered by insurance through her work thus far. She’s over 60 and could retire with my father (who retired about 4 years ago) and live quite well, however, she’s worried about getting and/or paying for whatever insurance would cost her if she did not have a job. She’s 61 so I don’t think she qualifies for medicare yet.
We have a large family and we children would be more than happy to donate what we can during the next four years to cover some (or all) of the costs of her insurance until she can get on medicare so she can retire. My Questions are:
1. Do insurance companies even offer insurance for breast cancer survivors? (Oh, she lives in Utah if that makes a difference)
2. If they do, does anybody know about how much it would probably cost? She’s been in very good health all of her life with the exception of her breast cancer
3. Does anybody have some suggestions that we might not know about, or haven’t thought about, that could help? Any ideas are welcome.

How to support my bf’s sister with breast cancer?
My bf’s sister was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She was on hormone treatment to try to become pregnant, which accelerated the cancer’s progression. She was put on an emergency list for her surgery which was done last week. They remove her whole breast and lymph nodes, which were all affected.
She will be undergoing radio therapy and chemotherapy in a month when she is recovered from surgery.
I’m not that close with her because I’m just getting to know my bf’s family. I met his sister only once before her diagnosis but I enjoy her very much and I know how much she means to him. They are close, and I feel really touched by this situation, also because both my grandmothers had breast cancer.
However, it’s very delicate to be getting to know her while she’s going through such an intense experience, and I really want to do everything I can to support her and my bf and their family through this. My bf says I’ve been really helping and supporting him a lot, but having been through this before with my grandmothers, I know what’s coming ahead and more or less what to expect from chemo.
It’s a long road to recovery and I want some advice from other breast cancer survivors about how to be supportive with a person that I don’t know very closely.
Thanks everyone.

Do you find cancer support groups to be very depressing?
I joined a cancer support group and i strongly regret that i did. The group is so depressing. I my fear of cancer returning again was never this bad until last year after i had joined the breast cancer support group. I just didn’t expect the women to be so hopeless and down in the dumps, but i should have expected that i guess. It’s just that with them being breast cancer survivors, i just thought that they would be a little more optimistic. Joining this group has made me depressed and i have stop attending the group. Has anyone else had this experience?
