To complete this How-To you will need: Cruciferous vegetables High-fiber foods Green tea A healthy weight Step 1: Eat your broccoli Eat broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and other cruciferous vegetables. They’re high in indoles, which reduce levels of estrogen, a hormone that can feed breast tumors. Step 2: Increase your fiber Getting at least 20 grams of fiber a day can cut your risk, especially if you’re postmenopausal. Look for cereals and breads whose first ingredient is a whole grain. Step 3: Sip green tea Sip green tea. It contains catechins, cancer-fighting antioxidants. Step 4: Limit alcohol Limit alcoholic beverages. In one study, having two to five drinks a day increased the risk of breast cancer 1.5 times compared with teetotalers. Step 5: Eat less fat Eat less trans fat, which is found in processed foods like cakes, crackers, and cookies. High blood levels of trans fat can double your risk. Tip: The American Heart Association recommends a daily trans fat intake of less than two grams per day

My Mom is a Breast cancer Survivor, beautiful, and happy & 67. I want the the world to see her. How? What? ?

She had a mastectomy & her breasts look great & cancer free forever and she is so happy she made that choice and so am I!I also feel that the mastectomy has contributed to her figure (she has a body like a 20 year old). Is there a beauty pageant for woman her age? If not, how do I start one? I want younger mothers to be inspirited by seeing that there is a happy life after cancer and they too can live long and look beautiful.
Most importantly, I want younger woman and mothers who are faced with the choice of a double mastectomy to know that getting a double mastectomy is ok!

Do you have any interesting ideas to support breast cancer?

I had an idea that the workers at Hooters should wear a pink ribbon between their breasts that says in big words "SUPPORT OR THESE WILL DISAPPEAR."
I mean, come on! Don’t you men go into hooters sometimes just to glare at boobs, and the thought doesn’t even cross your mind that they mind go "poof"?
Well yeah of course it is about health.
No, it is all about supporting to donate money so they may find a cure and prevent breast cancer. : )
