Tattoo design—Cancer – sister and mother victims of cancer, while I'm a survivor?
My mother died in 1990 of colon cancer; my sister died in 2010 of uterine leiomyosarcoma, I am a breast cancer survivor. I want a tattoo to represent both of them, as well as me as a survivor. HELP—can’t come up with anything suitable!!
Kind of want 3 cancer ribbons intertwined, with "survivor" ribbon on top.

Why is support for breast cancer so common?
I know it’s a very common cancer, but very few men actually get it, mostly women. Why isn’t there much support for cancers such as colon cancer? Is there some sort of thing against men or what?
I don’t think you read my question Rachel…
I didn’t mean that only men get colon cancer, that is stupid. It’s just that you hear more about breast cancer. For example, everybody knows what the pink ribbon stands for. What color do they use for prostate cancer? Have you ever seen one? No.
This is going to be hard to pick a best answer lol
I have no idea who to pick for best answer so I’m putting it up for voting :/

Why does it seem like breast cancer is the only type of cancer anyone cares about?
It seem as though breast cancer gets so much more attention than any other type of cancer. I realize that it is the most common but does that mean it is the most important? I went to a cancer support walk (to raise money because my father died of colon cancer) and I can’t even describe how much emphasis was put on breast cancer and no other types. I’m sorry if this sounds a little ignorant, I don’t mean it to sound that way at all. It just confuses me.

Are there any cancer charities that are very generous to colon cancer support and research?
I would like to give out donations as favors at my wedidng, and since my father died of colon cancer I would like to find a charity that supports this cause.
There are many breast cancer charities, but not many for other specialties. Please provide sourcing if you can so I can verify that information is correct!
